On 4th December, there was a pooja (poornahuti havan) at 3 pm in which Dr Sujatha Guha, Medical Director of Sankara Nethralaya, Kolkata along with her husband participated.  On 5th December Grihapravesh was done at 11am.  The entire programme was organized by Shri. Hanuman Prasad Agarwala, a well wisher of Sankara Nethralaya.

Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s 83rd Birthday was celebrated at SN on 22nd November 2008 in the Mahyco Block reception. The pooja was performed and aarthi was taken invoking the blessings of Bhagwan Baba for the success of Sankara Nethralaya. A Large number of devotees and staff participated and prasadam was distributed to all.
