Sudharsana Homam the annual prayer ceremony to propitiate the Gods and seek their blessings for the well being and prosperity of Sankara Nethralaya, its employees and their family members was performed with religious fervor at the Sankara Nethralaya Main on the 25th of November 2012. The homam was performed at a specially erected pedestal and pandal in front of the Sri V.Venugopal Block at 8:30am and was attended by Dr SS.Badrinath, Chairman Emeritus, Dr Vasanthi Badrinath, Director, Clinical Services, Dr S.Bhaskaran, Chairman, Ms Akila Ganesan, Senior General Manager, Ms Kausalya Appukutty and Ms Surekha Mehta from SWAN, Lion Harinarayanan ,Consultants, staff members and well wishers. The Sangalpam was received by Dr V.Jagadeesan, Chief Anaesthetist and his wife and the Poornahudi the main part of the homam was performed at 9:30 am. The function concluded at 10:00am with the distribution of prasadam to all gathered.
