Ophthalmic Community honours a Stalwart in eye care

Three leading eye care providers in the country the MN Eye Hospitals Pvt Ltd, Chennai, Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore and the Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital, Mumbai have been successfully conducting the Margazhi Ophthal Festival as an annual CMR program with the objective of underlining the need for embracing technological advancements and practices by eye care institutions, to deliver better eye care, for the past three years. This year the Margazhi Ophtha Festival- 2013 was held in a grand manner at the GRT Grand Hotel, Chennai on 22nd December 2013 with active participation by 300 eye care professionals from all over the country. The ‘Natraj Manickam Endowment Lecture award’ instituted to honour the stalwarts and pioneers of eye care in India was awarded to Dr SS.Badrinath, Chairman Emeritus, Sankara Nethralaya on the occasion.
