A pre-foundation day sports meet for Sankara Nethralaya employees and their families was held on July 27, 2025, at the Armed Reserve–II Police Ground, St. Thomas Mount.

The event began at 8:00 a.m. with a flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by a series of sports and recreational activities for both children and adults. The event offered an opportunity for employees and their families to engage informally and build camaraderie.

President Dr. Girish Shiva Rao distributed prizes to the winners.

Team scores from the event will be added to the final tally on Foundation Day in September. The current team standings are as follows:
