Learning & Development Consultant and Leadership Coach at Success Strategists, Col Sanath Gopinath took the participants through a most in-depth and absorbing session touching on the key leadership qualities that make a ‘Real’ manager. He highlighted that Managers should begin the management process by leading themselves, as the best way to lead and inspire is ‘Leading by example’, he underlined that human beings are not inanimate resources and have to be effectively led and not simply managed. The management Guru closed his session with the key observation that managers in order to be successful should be people centric and not process centric, since the employees and his team are more concerned about how much their manager cares and not on how much he knows.
