Bhagwan Sri Satya Sai Baba, a beacon of hope to mankind, a Spiritual Master and one steadfast in his commitment for the betterment of the society has held millions around the world captive by his unique teachings and service. The Bhagwan’s supreme teachings of one religion called “Love”, one caste called “Humanity”, one language called the “Language of the Heart” and one “Omnipresent God” have had universal acceptance.
A firm believer in the mantra ‘Manava Seva is Madhava Seva’ Bhagwan has been relentless in his pursuit of creating world class educational and professional institutions, health care centers particularly for the down trodden, drinking water supply to dry regions and promoting culture and heritage.
The much adored and venerated Bhagwan’s 88th Birthday was celebrated, on Saturday, 23rd November 2013 at the Sankara Nethralaya Main campus with religious fervour and devotion by Sai Devotees who extend voluntary services at the center and Staff members. Spirited chanting of Sai Kirtans and Bhajans were the highlight of the celebrations, the function concluded after Mangala Aarti and offering of prasadam to all gathered. The function also marked the honouring of Sathya Sai devotees for their exemplary service to society by Senior Consultants.
