Alcon team visits SN
A three-member team from Alcon laboratories, USA, visited Sankara Nethralaya on June 1, 2010 to interact with doctors and students.
The team consisting of Mr. David W Stroman, Dr. Richard Garber and Ms. Gale Cupp visited the cornea, diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma units as well as the research laboratories.
The Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Ocular Pathology and Bioinformatics departments made a brief presentation on the department’s undertakings and achievements. Future collaborative research projects were also discussed with the Alcon team.
