Dr Aravind Neelakandan, University of Southwestern Medical School, USA visited Sankara Nethralaya on 11.12.2008 and gave a guest lecture on “Glaucoma Surgery Update” At 5.30 Pm at the New Auditorium in the New Research Building.
On 4th December, there was a pooja (poornahuti havan) at 3 pm in which Dr Sujatha Guha, Medical Director of Sankara Nethralaya, Kolkata along with her husband participated. On 5th December Grihapravesh was done at 11am. The entire programme was organized by Shri. Hanuman Prasad Agarwala, a well wisher of Sankara Nethralaya.
Prof. T N Krishnan and his son Sriram Krishnan visited Sankara Nethralaya on 11.12.08. There was a Jugalbandhi concert which was held in the auditorium on 27th December.
